John Brenkus & Rob Vaka

John Brenkus built ESPN Sport Science, sold it, and then started over with Rob Vaka on a network you can shop from without leaving.

SALTYmf sponsors The NIL House, their daily show, and Banyas has been a guest on it. He became a believer over the phone: a friend called him from LAX to say he was on the television in the terminal, which Banyas did not believe until he asked Brenkus what the reach actually was. He also admits on air that he had no idea who Brenkus was when they started, and no idea what NIL stood for.

Brinx.TV is the platform, the tech, the programming and the intellectual property, all owned in one place. Viewers earn a point a minute for watching and a point a dollar for buying, and those points buy sponsor merchandise or get wagered on the niche sports they carry, including jiu jitsu fought inside a car. The NIL House shoots every morning at eight or half past, runs on Reach TV's ninety one airports and twenty five hundred screens as well as their own channel, and pulled eighty four million impressions in a thirty day stretch. The GOAT Code takes the Sport Science approach to Hall of Famers; the Pro Football Hall of Fame deal means every inductee from the 2023 class forward gets a jacket, a bust and a segment.

Vaka introduces himself as the guy best known for being best friends with the guy who created Sport Science, which is roughly the temperature of the whole operation. He also says the job is daily, because they shoot every morning, and that Brenkus has this energy on no alcohol and no drugs. Their events run to a thirty third annual Kerfluffle and, coming in July, an NIL House bake sale. Brenkus still recites the self creed his seventh grade teacher made the class say out loud: I believe in me, I like me, I have total confidence in me, I don't care what others think, I'm happy with me.
